Why does the frog at the Frog Pond playground in Boston Common hold a test tube?
Maybe it used to be a cigar in the past? But why a test tube?

Jeez, is nothing sacred? Looks like somebody ripped off the top of what used to be a party horn (you can see the top here, scroll down a page or two).
Ah, now it makes sense.
I thought it was a particularly lame attempt at an MIT Hack or something.
