Father Pat Noise

One of my favourite sights in Dublin is the spoof memorial to the fictional Father Pat Noise "who died in suspicious circumstances, when his carriage plunged into the Liffey", right on O'Connell Bridge in the middle of Dublin. It does seem to be an "only in Dublin" item, since I can't think of a similar memorial in any large city I've visited.
